Map Viewer Classic is a retired product. Esri recommends that users move to Map Viewer - https://support.esri.com/en-us/knowledge-base/deprecation-map-viewer-classic-deprecation-000030662Workaround
- On the web map, remove the Map Image Layer.
- Click the Add Layer > Add Layer from Web.
- Paste the desired layer's REST URL, for example: https://<portal url>/<web adaptor>/rest/services/<folder>/Continent/MapServer/0
