Display performance is much slower and/or ArcMap hangs when zooming in on a high vertex count line dataset symbolized with a cartographic line symbol with a positive offset.

Use a simple line symbol, or use the Line Simplify tool to siimplify the line features.If multiple values are symbolized with offsets in the same layer, issue can be worked around by symbolizing 1-5 values without offset, leaving the remaining values with offset.Steps to Reproduce
