This issue is not reproducible with other similar services. If the issue persists, contact Esri Support Services for further investigation.

Workaround

  1. In Map Viewer Classic, add the file.
  2. Save the map with the referenced layer coming from the CSV file.
  3. Open the map in the ArcGIS Online Map Viewer, and the points are seen.

This is a temporary workaround to this issue, as Map Viewer Classic will be deprecated in Q1 of 2026.
