Disabling the network topology causes ArcGIS Pro 2.5 to crash when the utility network has a Z extent of NaN.

Workaround
The utility network must be recreated. The current configuration can be exported using the Utility Network Package Tools. Use the Stage Utility Network and Apply Asset Package tools to create a new utility network, and apply the asset package.
