Additional Information

Thank you for submitting this. The context menu option 'Upgrade Scene Layer' cannot be grayed out on the specified scene layer package as it does not interrogate the version of the scene layer. Users can upgrade the scene layer regardless of the version to a different format such as i3sREST or add or remove textures with the texture optimization parameter. In the next release of ArcGIS Pro, the I3S Version is to be added to the layer properties page to determine which version it is.

Workaround

The SLPK files are mostly received from the client in the latest version. However, when bring into ArcGIS Pro, the upgrade button is not greyed out. The SLPK file is thought to be in the older version and needs to be updated. This causes confusion and wastes time doing the unnecessary upgrade.

Grey out the Upgrade button or display a message when the SLPK used as the input data is in the latest version. This enhancement helps users verify whether the SLPK received is in the updated version or not.
