Workaround
Restarting ArcSDE service helps removing the connection from sde.process_information table.C:>sdemon -o shutdown -i esri_dome3 -p sdeKill the 1 registered server task(s) and shutdown ArcSDE, ARE YOU SURE (Y/N)?: YKilling 1 ArcSDE Process(es) . . .ArcSDE Instance esri_dome3 on MEDFORD is Shutdown!
