Additional Information

This is not a defect. Adding the suggestion: arcpy.UpdateDiagram_schematics("209_2A_Diagramm"," ","KEEP_MANUAL_MODIF") After implementing the suggestion, the update problem within the standalone script is fixed when saving and closing ArcMap.
