Deleting the source item for an ArcGIS Dashboards widget prevents access to the widget's configure menu. The 'Loading Layer' message buffers endlessly when accessing the widget's configure menu.

Workaround

  • Delete each widget and reconfigure, or
  • Use ArcGIS Online Assistant to replace each affected widget's source data item ID with an item ID for an existing service.
