Date fields do not show up in the drop-down while applying filters on a referenced feature layer in the Map Viewer of Portal for ArcGIS when standardized queries are disabled on the ArcGIS Server.

Workaround
Enabling 'standardizedQueries' back by switching the entry to 'True' resolves the issue.
