Data Specific: Exporting a layout containing a polygon layer symbolized with randomized marker fill symbols from ArcGIS Pro takes more than 12 hours. In ArcMap. exporting the layout with the same export parameters takes under an hour.

Workaround

The user found this is an appealing way to display tree coverage. User experimented with other fills, and stated without more control over the image to get the right colors or feel it has always been sub-par in the results.
