Status
Non-Reproducible
This issue was not reproducible when tested by the development team. Issues may be given this status when they cannot be reproduced or are no longer relevant in a development version of the software, but a specific fix was not installed to address the issue. The issue's Additional Information section may contain further explanation.
Description
The Geoenrichment service returns a different result for a drive time task in one application when it is compared to another application. For example, the enrichment numbers returned for a 10 minute drive time study area are different in the ArcGIS Online API when compared with what is returned from the Business Analyst Online (BAO) application.
Cause
The difference is the result of one service area being executed as a synchronous process and the other service area as an asynchronous process. Applications may execute this task differently to improve performance.
Workaround
There is no workaround available for this issue using an Esri application. In an independently developed application, this process could be run syncrhonously or asynchronously. Please see the links below in regards to synchronous versus asynchronous execution.
