CTRL + left mouse click does not open a new tab when searching for items in a portal in Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.

The issue described in this BUG is no longer reproducible in the software at currently supported versions. Contact Esri Support if any issues with similar workflows persist.

Workaround

Open the item in a new tab by right-clicking the item and choosing to open in a new tab, or click the middle mouse key.

Use Internet Explorer with no issues.
