Workaround
Set the offline basemap options to be ready from the device, and manually add the vector tile package (VTPK) or tile vector package (TPK) to the device.
On iOS:
- Use a workflow to generate a tile layer and a tile package.
- Set the basemap for the offline area to a tile package: Naviaget to the web map settings, Offline, Options, Basemaps and tile package, select the 'tile package on the device', and enter the filename (the naming must be consistent, as it is generated in ArcGIS Pro).
- Share the tile package with the end user.
- Download the tile package on the IOS device
- After downloading, move the package to the field maps appropriate folder.
On Android devices, a similar workflow applies to some models. However, if any file cannot be seen inside the data folder using the phone, navigate to the data folder using the reference below using a computer USB connection.
