ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online have introduced a new version of ArcGIS StoryMaps with new templates. Version 2.0.0 of the Python API handles this new format. Please update ArcGIS StoryMaps to version 2 of ArcGIS StoryMaps.Workaround
