Additional Information

The Smart Editor widget does not pick up changes made to the geocoding service and, in some instances, not all candidate fields are listed. A change is implemented to fetch updates from the geocoding service when the Address Attribute Actions configuration opens. This automatically picks up any changes made to the candidate fields options when geocoding service is updated.

Workaround

  • In the Configure Smart Editor window, click the Attribute Actions tab and navigate to the Address section to fetch the updated fields, and make the needed changes to the action. Save the updated widget configuration.
  • In the Configure Smart Editor window, click the General Settings tab, and click Geocoder Settings to open the Set Geocoder URL window. Then, click Validate > OK. The list of candidate fields provided when creating or updating Address Attribute Actions is now updated.
