Use gp tool to perform this operation.Workaround
Using 3-tier connection to run sdeversion -o compress on AIX machine or run the command from windows machine using either 3-tier connection or direct connection.Users said they must use direct connection on AIX.From the user:"Compress did complete this morning in 3-tier mode. But that is not how we run, nor is it the way we intend to run."Steps to Reproduce
