Description
Pasting a feature class from ArcSDE into a personal geodatabase fails if the feature class has a multi-field index containing the OBJECTID field. The following error message occurs:
"Paste Failed ------------ Failed to paste EXPORT_TEST Failed sending the dataset deleted notification to a workspace extension. [Survey Database] The table was not found. The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot find the input table or query 'SDB_FCConn'. Make sure it exists and that its name is spelled correctly."
OR:
"Paste Failed Item not found in this collection."
Cause
This is a known issue.
Workaround
Through ArcCatalog, drop the index before exporting to the personal geodatabase and re-create it after the export is complete.
Microsoft Access may also be used to re-create the index if it is required in the personal geodatabase.
