Duplicate of NIM008701 (fixed in 9.3)

Workaround

Convert the GRID to TIFF and then add the TIFF to ArcMap or Remove the GRID from ArcMap and Add again to ArcMap. The Contour tool and Create Contour works fine.or use GP NaturalNeighbors tool.
