Content categories are not properly assigned when items are categorized on the item page, which results in no items returned when filtering using content categories on the ArcGIS Enterprise portal content page.

This is resolved in ArcGIS Enterprise 11.5, planned to release Q2 of 2025.Workaround
Categorize an item from the Content page instead of the Item Details Overview page.
