Consuming a published feature class with a date field data type with non-nulls enabled, and the default value published to Portal for ArcGIS fails to create new features when edited in ArcGIS Pro.

Workaround

  1. Publish the feature class to Portal for ArcGIS 10.5.1.
  2. Make the field nullable.
  3. Remove the non-nullable field.
