Connection to Oracle using TNSNAMES displays a different source in ArcGIS Pro when using a database connection created through the Database Connections folder in the Catalog pane or a database connection created using the Create Database Connection geoprocessing tool.

This syntax is the format that ArcObjects uses and is maintained for backward compatibility.

Workaround

Create database connections using the EASY CONNECT naming convention to ensure the same source is displayed.
