Additional Information
This issue is not rproducible in the later versions of ArcGIS Enterprise.
Workaround
- Copy the URL of the Configurable Application.
- Create a new Dashboard in ArcGIS Enterprise by navigating to Content > Create > Dashboards. Populate the Title and Tags parameters.
- Edit the Dashboard and add a new item via the '+' icon in the upper right. Select "Embedded Content".
- Under the Data tab, for Data Options, paste the URL copied from step 1 in the URL field. This embeds the original configurable application into the dashboard.
- Save the dashboard by clicking the Save button in the upper right.
- Navigate to the ArcGIS Enterprise Site page and start an edit session. Add a new Layout object > Application. Drag this object to the desired place on the webpage. Select that object and edit its properties > Select Application and select the Configurable App Dashboard saved in step 5.
NOTE: For ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8, users will need to add the Configurable Application as an iFrame object instead of an Application as the list for applications in ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8 won't include Dashboards. This only requires the URL of the Configurable App Dashboard.
