Compress fails with the error message, "Error release logfile pool table (-43)" when using a pool of session logfiles.

This bug is related to session logfiles which are no longer supported on Oracle.Workaround
Switch to shared logfiles as part of the nightly script to enable the compress to complete:
sdeconfig –o alter –v ALLOWSESSIONLOGFILE=false –u sde_reg –p sde_reg –i 5151:SDE_REG
sdeconfig –o alter –v LOGFILEPOOLSIZE=0 –u sde_reg –p sde_reg –i 5151:SDE_REG
