Description
If a feature class exceeds the maximum number of fields and/or the maximum number of characters in the field names when checking data out to AXF format using the ArcPad Data Manager toolbar, ArcMap crashes for some users.Cause
This is a known size limitation of 255 field characters in the AXF file, which is a limitation of Microsoft SQL Server Compact Edition.Workaround
Create a new field and limit the name to 254 characters or less.Steps to Reproduce
