Changing the web browser language settings to languages other than English, such as German, Korean, and Japanese, does not allow the Esri Insights application to load.

Users attempt to open ArcGIS Insights from their web portal's app shortcut menu.
However they only experience the Insights logo with a spinning graphic around it.


Can occur across different browsers in both ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise Portal


Browser is at an older version and/or language-locale settings need to be updated.



  1. upgrade the browser to the latest version; or
  2. change the browser's language settings to have "English-US" as the primary preferred language
