Changing a map extent from the item details page settings does not update the map extent if the map is last saved in ArcGIS Online Map Viewer.

Additional Information
The map's extent extent configured from the item details page does not currently change the core web map's saved extent. The Map Viewer's extent has additional properties that the item details extent does not capture such as preserving the initial viewpoint scale.Workaround
- Update the map extent in ArcGIS Online Map Viewer.
- Save the map in ArcGIS Online Map Viewer Classic.
