Additional Information

The current limitation is only one business type can be added when using the 'Select a popular business type' option. For example, the word 'Grocery', then 'Parks' are selected. Since only one business type can be added, the second selection (Parks) override the first selection (Grocery). The ability to refine the results is also limited because all businesses that include the word 'parks' are included in the report.

Workaround

  1. Create a custom table by choosing Esri layers in step one of Add Nearby Locations. This option allows refining the nearby results to include only the business types visible in the report.
  2. Select Use Esri layers and then select the attributes to display in the table.
  3. Enter the desired attributes and click Next.
  4. Click Add filter. Select filter, either NAICS Code or SIC Code.
    • For example, select NAICS and type parks in the Value search bar.
    • Select the NAICS code of 71219004.
    • Click Next
    • Make the desired selections.
    • Click Apply.
  5. Save and name the report.
  6. Run the report.
