Workaround

1. Before creating the terrain feature, grant the view permissions to the other user on the feature dataset. After creating the terrain, the other user will be able to view the terrain.2. If the terrain already exists without granting the permission as described under the first workaround, view permissions can be granted within SQL Server Management Studio on the corresponding tables.
