Calculations include questions which are relevant and within a group are not calculated and added into Text, Decimal, and Integer questions unless all of the questions in the calculation are visible in a survey published from Survey123 Connect version 3.9.

Additional Information

The calculation total expression is to be updated to handle null values or questions with no answers which are part of the total (using an if statement, for example, to replace the null with a 0 where there is no answer) so the calculation works correctly.

Workaround

To calculate all of the values, the maximum value has to be used which triggers all of the relevant questions to get the calculated value.
