Additional Information

The service area internally calculates the lines (roads) that can be covered based on the cutoff radius, and that is very accurate based on the cutoff value provided. The polygon is an artistic representation of the area based on the roads that can be covered. Though the best effort is made to make the polygon represent the area that can be reached, there are going to be trade offs to make the polygon slightly over the underlying roads so it is visually appealing, the discrepancy is more visible for small radius. To improve the result, check the 'Generate detailed polygons' and 'Include reachable streets' check boxes.
