This is a known limitation. This issue is to be addressed in a future update when calculating field values is supported directly over the calculate API using Arcade.Workaround
- Use the SQL expression "<field> = NULL" to calculate null values.
- Use the Field Calculator in ArcGIS Pro if Arcade must be used.
