Attempting to sign in to an Enterprise portal that uses a certificate without Subject Alternative Name (SAN) on the web server fails with the error message, "ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID" in the Survey123 for ArcGIS field app 3.5.164 and Survey123 Connect for ArcGIS 3.5.157 on Windows 10.

Additional Information

Survey123, like other AppStudio apps, uses a version of the Chromium browser to handle login on Windows. As of Chromium 58, certificates without a Subject Alternative Name (SAN) are no longer considered secure, see https://support.google.com/chrome/a/answer/7391219?hl=en for more details.

Workaround

Configure the portal to use an external web browser to log in in Survey123 for ArcGIS.
