Workaround
One possible workaround for this is to set the Reference path in project properties to override the HintPath linked with the reference. I don’t have a sp3 setup yet to verify it but it’s worth trying:1. Open project properties to set the reference path a. VB.Net project – Go to “References” tab and click the “Reference Paths” button on the upper right corner. b. C# project – Go to “Reference Paths” tab 2. Add the folder to C:\ArcGIS\DotNet (or wherever the ArcGIS .Net assemblies are installed) --------------Another workaround is to remove the affected references and add them back using the default Add Reference... command shipped with Visual Studio.
