This issue is resolved in ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript 4.31, which disables integrated mesh shading by default. However, the underlying cause is a problem with the data, which has incorrect normals. https://community.esri.com/t5/scene-viewer-questions/artifacts-in-scene-layer/m-p/1516518Workaround
Append the '&disableFeatures=im-shading' parameter to the URL to disable integrated mesh shading.
Note: If the scene has been opened in the same browser without this parameter before, the scene layer is cached in the browser's indexedDB. Before accessing the scene with this parameter, make sure to clear the SceneLayer IndexedDB in the browser. To do this, apply the following steps below:
- Open developer tools.
- Navigate to the Application tab.
- Under Storage / IndexedDB, select esr-scenelayer-cache.
- Click Delete database.
