Cannot reproduce after upgrading the database to Oracle 10.2.0.4. Most likely fixed by one or more of the Oracle Bugs listed in updated description.Workaround
Change SDE configuration parameter MAXBUFSIZE from 65536 to 150000, then restart ArcSDE service.Steps to Reproduce
