ArcMap uses the projection as 'Deutsche_Hauptdreiecksnetz' by default and does not change it into 'GCS_Deutsches_Hauptdreiecksnetz'.

Workaround
Ensure that the raster is stored in .sid format.Go to Data management tools >> projections and transformations >> raster >> project raster and re-project the raster in “GCS_Deutsches_Hauptdreiecksnetz”. The raster will be re-projected in either .img or GRID or TIFF or .bmp or .jpg or .png format. This resolves the issue.
