ArcMap hangs when using the Move (Edit) tool to move and/or save edits to a number of features if a spatial index is applied to a feature class.

Several workarounds can be used including using Spatial Adjustment or converting the feature classes into shapefiles. The hang up does not occur with shapefiles. 8/04/2011 - Change the grid size on the spatial index to 1000. The hang no longer ocSteps to Reproduce
