1. Delete 10 rows from the Postgresql non-geodatabase.
2. Select New Query Layer by gid.
3. Publish to ArcGIS for Server as a feature service.
4. Add the feature service to ArcMap as a user connection.
5. Select any feature successfully.
or
1. Delete 10 rows from the Postgresql non-geodatabase.
2. Use the Incrementing ID Field tool in ArcMap.
3. Select New Query Layer by gid.
4. Publish to ArcGIS for Server as Feature Service.
5. Add the feature service to ArcMap as user connection.
6. Select any feature successfully.
or
1. Delete 10 rows from the Postgresql non-geodatabase.
2. Export this data back into its database, with a new name, via ArcCatalog. (This resets the gid's).
3. Select New Query Layer by gid.
4. Publish to ArcGIS for Server as Feature Service.
5. Add the feature service to ArcMap as user connection.
6. Select any feature successfully.
