Description

ArcMap crashes when switching symbology for rasters with colormaps from the colormap renderer to the unique values renderer.
  
Note:
This issue has been fixed at ArcGIS Destop Service Pack 3 and subsequent releases of ArcGIS Desktop. Please download and install this service pack.

Cause

This is a known issue at ArcGIS Desktop 10 Service Pack 2. For updates on the bug status, please use bug number NIM068695.

Workaround

Download and install ArcGIS Desktop 10 Service Pack 3.
