ArcGIS Pro fails to add data when a secured service is added from different folders using different credentials. The error message, “Failed to add to the data” is returned.

The workflow to add data from a path always prompts for credentials.

Workaround

Add the data from an ArcGIS Server connection to avoid this issue.
