ArcGIS Pro experiences slow performance when selecting features on a map containing multiple layers.

Workaround

• Reduce the amount of data in a project and keep only the active layer visible to improve performance.
• Single-click the features at a slower pace (or drag a box/lasso shape to multiselect in one pass). The problem occurs with fast single left-clicking.
