Additional Information

This is as designed. ArcMap uses a custom renderer for CAD data, while ArcGIS Pro has moved to use a renderer more consistent with GIS data and the rest of the ArcGIS system. The colors of features are based on the color of the CAD layer they exist on. In the CAD software, if the colors are changed from 'bylayer' to another color that is not matching the layer they are on, ArcGIS Pro displays it as the CAD layer color. The feature-specific color info is captured in the attribute data for the features in the reserved CAD field of 'Color'. The user can use the info to change the display of the features to match what they expect. By default, ArcGIS Pro displays the CAD feature as 'byLayer'. If the line is set to green in AutoCAD but the layer is set to red, ArcGIS Pro draws the line in red. To ensure the colors in AutoCAD match with ArcGIS Pro, draw all features to the AutoCAD layer standard and not an individual feature standard where objects on one layer have multiple colors.

Workaround

Open the files in ArcMap, save the map document (MXD), and import the MXD file into ArcGIS Pro.
