ArcGIS Pro cannot navigate up to a parent folder in the Add Folder Connection dialog box.

Additional Information

The browse dialog is behaving as designed. There is already an easy workflow providing the capability requested by the user that they may not be aware exists. Steps 1. Open the browse dialog, e.g. with a map view active click the Add Data button on the ribbon. 2. Browse into the folder connection that was added to the project. 3. Click in the breadcrumb control at the top of the browse dialog -- the full path to the folder's location is selected. 4. Use the keyboard to remove the folder connection you are currently in -- this is the parent folder's path. 5. Press Enter -- the browse dialog changes to show the parent folder's contents.
