Additional Information

This is an expected behavior. Items are always editable if editing is enabled and the content is shared to a user (either via an organization, group, or public sharing). The setting in the Group settings about 'What items in the group can its members update?' is related to the Item Details page of the items and the Settings page of the items, as well as the ability to overwrite or append on the item. To disable editing features, ensure editing is disabled on the item settings page.
