ArcGIS Online Map Viewer doesn't display labels when the symbol layer for the feature layer is disabled while publishing from ArcGIS Pro.

Workaround

• Select the layer in the Content's pane of ArcGIS Online Map Viewer, Style and in the Style options.
• Select Symbol Style, Current symbol, Vector point, Category, and select any basic symbol. Click Done and Save.
• Then both labels and features are visible on map viewer.
