ArcGIS Online drops HTML for certain codes and fails to display the Home Page properly, when inserting the code for a custom design banner.

After review by the development team, it has been determined that this issue is related to a known limitation with the software that lies outside of Esri's control. The issue's Additional Information section may contain further explanation.
If the user uses a single div, the Editor basically consumes it when it reads it in. However, if the div is wrapped in another div it is fine.
