This is not in the current roadmap.Workaround
A user used the following label expression using Python: [<FIELD>]+'\n'+[<FIELD>]. This was not recognized by ArcGIS Online resulting in not showing any label. Thus, use the Arcade expression $feature.<FIELD> + Textformatting.Newline + $feature.<FIELD> for ArcGIS Online to recognize.
