Additional Information

This issue is a known limitation with feature collections. Use the workaround of exporting the map layers to a hosted feature service. Exporting as a hosted feature layer is an updated and improved workflow compared to using feature collections.

Workaround

When sharing web map from ArcGIS Business Analyst, check the "Export map layers in a new hosted feature service." The layer syncs as expected.

Use Map Viewer

  1. Navigate to ArcGIS Online (www.arcgis.com).
  2. Click on the Sign In button, and enter the credentials for a member with an Administrator or Publisher role.
  3. Select the Map button.
  4. Select Add menu > Add Map Notes > In the Add Map Notes dialog box > specify the desired title > Create > In the Add Features box, select Stickpin > In the Web Map, select a point to create a point > In the pop-up that appears, select the Close button.
  5. Select the Analysis button > Expand the Feature Analysis section > Expand the Use Proximity section> Select the Create Drive-Time Areas tools> specify the desired options> Run Analysis.
  6. When finished, click Save to save the Web Map.
  7. Open Adobe Illustrator.
  8. Select the Window menu> Extensions > ArcGIS Maps for Adobe Creative Cloud.
  9. In the ArcGIS Account dialog box, note that the latest version of ArcGIS Map for Adobe Creative Cloud, version 3.2.0, is used > Select ArcGIS Online to expand it> Select Sign in > Specify the ArcGIS Online credentials.
  10. In the ArcGIS Maps: Mapboards dialog box, select the Import button> select the plus button next to the web map created in step 4> Select.
  11. In the ArcGIS Maps: Compilation dialog box, select the Sync button.
