Feature layers published by reference from databases are considered remote layers in Insights. Domains or Subtypes are not supported for remote layers. Refer to https://doc.arcgis.com/en/insights/latest/get-started/domains-and-subtypes.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_7075FB312E854859AA5862262859A554.

Workaround

  1. Connect to the database directly from Insights.
  2. Copy the layer to the workbook.
