Description
When ArcGIS Explorer (build 900) is installed onto a machine that already has ArcGIS Image Server 10 installed, ArcGIS Image Server stops functioning properly. Server Manager 10 fails on launch, and the user is unable to add the Image Service Definition Editor toolbar in ArcMap.
Cause
There was a dependency that was not accounted for when checking for product compliance.
Workaround
Run a 'repair' on the ArcGIS Image Server 10 or the ArcGIS Image Service Editor 10 installation through 'Add/Remove Programs' or 'Programs and Features' on the control panel. Once the repair is complete, both ArcGIS Image Server 10 and ArcGIS Explorer (build 900) will function normally.
